Salsa Dancing

Partner Salsa & Rueda de Casino

Most of our classes are partner salsa and we dance on 1. We rotate partners throughout the lesson, and you don't need to come with a partner to participate.

Rueda de Casino is a group version of Cuban Salsa that is done in a circle and involves switching partners. One of the participants calls out the moves so that everyone is synchronized. We teach Rueda de Casino once a month.

West Coast & East Coast/Lindy Hop

We occasionally teach swing dancing during special series focusing on East Coast Swing or Lindy Hop. Check our calendar for upcoming classes and events. We also include swing dancing in special events and it's part of our Wednesday night social dancing rotation.

Ballroom Dancing

Waltz, Samba, Tango, Cha-Cha, Polka, Rumba, Fox Trot, & Bachata

We play music for all types of ballroom dances during our Wednesday social dance rotation, and teach select styles for our 5th Wednesday wild card lessons. Our teacher Michael Pollock is also teaching Ballroom Dancing on Thursday nights at the NMU PEIF this semester as a drop-in group fitness class. Learn more here.
